I was delighted with these extra services and it showed that Save Energy Group went the extra mile to delight the customer, rather than merely satisfy them. As for the system itself, on sunny days in the summer months the system was generating nearly £10 per day against the Feed in Tariff, and I look forward to many years of regular, tax free, index linked income from it. "We have just received our first payment cheque for the energy produced by the 12 solar panels that you installed for our Solar PV system. During this period the system had generated 748kW and the cheque from the energy company amounted to £320.14. This figure does not include any"saved energy cost"which is more difficult to assess. This has prompted me to write to you to say how pleased I have been with the system for the following reasons: - The whole process of assessing our requirements and the suitability of our roof (roughly south-facing) was carried out very effectively and you demonstrated a sensible pricing policy. - Having agreed to have the installation, this was then carried out very efficiently – the scaffolding installed in advance, the installation taking the planned two days, the site left"as found", and the guarantee and required paperwork received within a couple of days. All by very friendly staff. - The one problem that we did have was with a defective inverter that stopped working soon after installation. If you recall, I reported this to you immediately, and it was replaced and up and running in under 24 hours. As you can see from the above we are very happy with the system, and impressed by the efficient way that Save Energy handled the whole of our solar installation."

"When daylight starts, the meter showing the electricity used by the house slows to a stop and the meter you installed starts to show the excess electricity being exported back to the National Grid.
You may be interested to learn that since the installation in May this year we have received two cheques from the microgeneration unit totalling just over £780.00 and my electricity bill has reduced by £150.00 in the same period. Not a bad investment!!"

"After one month of generation, we have earnt £111.50 (producing 270 kWh) under the FIT scheme. Of course, there was not much sun for the first half of the month so a sunnier month will be even better!
Utility Warehouse has been very helpful and efficient in organising the paperwork and thanks for your help in facilitating that. They tell me that you can also receive the 3p per unit on power not used without having a new meter installed. They simply average it out by esimating feedback of 50% of power generated which seems reasonable instead of having a meter installed or recalibrated at £45 plus vat.
So for a month at 270 units, I would get another £8.10. In addition, because more of our power is generated in the morning, we try to use the dishwasher, washing machine etc then - and we'll see how that affects our bill..."
