Save Energy Male Bonding Day
Our energy advisors, consultants and company directors were fast-tracked to success when they challenged each other to a race to the finish in October at the Wessex Raceway near Salisbury.
No energy was saved on the day - with competition fierce!
Commercial Director, Mike Davies, was not about to let the staff win the day and took poll position. Steven, his son and our energy advice team leader, took an impressive second position, which proves there is something to be said for the expression ‘a chip off the old block’!
As if several laps on the race course weren’t enough for our testosterone fuelled crew, they then went on to challenge each other to Virtual Combat by laser! They split into two teams and Sales Manager, Martyn Rainer, was keen to tell us that his team were winning all the way through until a counter attack right at the finishing moments of the game! And so it was a draw. We believe you!
The Save Energy girls did have the last laugh, as they heard the groans of aches and pains the next day. They are opting for a gentle lunch; after all they cannot risk any broken nails. Gentle lunch, until the sweet trolley comes round that is………………
